Using a double pointed needle, cast on with Color A. With Color B begin first row at opposite end from where Color A is now attached.

I am using this stitch to combine a solid and a variegated yarn for a baby blanket and it is coming out beautifully. Both sides look great, there is no curling, corners/edges are straight, and no yarn cutting at the color changes!
