K4-tog		Knit four stitches together. There is an alternate method for working this decrease: slip 1, k3-tog, pass the slipped stitch over the k3-tog loop.
sl 1-k2-tog-psso		Slip a stitch. Then knit the next two stitches together. Pass the slip stitch back over the k2-tog loop and off the needle.
no stitch		This symbol is a place holder in the chart. It is used when the number of stitches in the pattern change -- i.e. the number of stitches per repeat of the pattern change from row to row.
