I have found a fun way to cast the I Ching.
I am not saying that it is better than the traditional methods using coins or yarrow sticks.
I am not trying to compete with the traditional methods; I merely want to add a fun method.
You see, I find the coin method a bit tedious. And who would carry a bunch of yarrow sticks in their purse?
(If you are in the habit of doing so, please don't bother to write me about it.
Clearly our visions of 'Normal' do not intersect.)
The theme here is to make the I Ching fun.
And so I found a way to use candy to cast the I Ching.
And therefore, I have re-christened it the M Ching (short for Mun Ching).
You need a vending machine size bag of candy that has at least 6 different colors of pieces in the bag.
M & Ms are the ideal model, Skittles also work well; but other brands can be used.
Sort the candies by color. I use brown, red, orange, yellow, green and blue in my model.
If there are other colors in your brand of candy, just mentally substitute the colors with those in the model.
Enter the number of candies of each color in the textboxes in the color bands below.
Then select the "Get A Reading" button.
